Geometry

The distinctive feature of Medoc, designed by Michele De Lucchi, is the original trapezoidal shape that recalls the tapered shape of a tree trunk, like that of the old planks “when the boards weren’t squared so as not to waste wood needlessly.”

The unique treatment with the traditional sawn surface creates a fascinating play of light and unexpected ancestral sensations.

Key word: Sinuos. The rounded, bevelled and curved boards along with a slight "bombé" effect of the surface create a new language. The smooth cut of the boards allows to play with new designs and compositions, which although similar to the classic patterns of ancient wood floors, give rise to modern and original herringbone, diagonal or full lengths geometries.

Horizontal vertical

Listone Giordano has always contributed to deeply changing the way of designing parquet. It has been able to combine nature's innate talent with mankind's genius, by considering wood not just as a floor surface, but as an “architectural element”, capable of customising the rooms where we spend most of our everyday life. This way the vertical wall becomes a furnishing element, a “wooden” skin adding a 3D effect and warmth to your home. A constantly evolving vertical system, a natural “cocoon” that acts as an antidote to the stress of modern life.
