    • Marco Tortoioli Ricci

Born in Perugia in 1964, he completed his secondary education at the ISIA art school in Urbino in 1987. A student of Provinciali and Hohenneger; he worked as art director at Studio Dolcini Associati in Pesaro from 1989 to 1992. In 1992 he founded and directed the Bcpt Associati Studio in Perugia, where he developed projects with a corporate identity and branding. In 2003 he set up the Co.Mo.Do cooperative. He is still the chairman of the cooperative and developed training, research, ethical communication and social innovation projects.

The cooperative does not have an exact head office and currently works as a network with 11 members. It focuses on designing visual identity systems and systems with a special reference to communication for local areas and places.

He was twice a national advisor of AIAP, from 2000 to 2006. Projects by Bcpt Associati were selected by the ADI Design Index observatory in 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2009.

Wooden flooring is therefore the original map, script of our genetic code.
    • The project

My job is designing visual communication; the analysis, composition and semantics of writing with signs and images. Visual codes that nourish the everyday lives of each one of us. I call them “scripts”, whether one associates the terms with the sequence of phonetic signs we call alphabet or one refers to simultaneous interpretations, more typical of figures. Basically, the motif of the projects for wooden flooring starts here, convinced as I am that the place each one of us chooses to live in must contain and express our origins, roots and memory”. Thanks to the random laying of just three shades of grey, Vibrazioni Natural Genius by Marco Tortoioli Ricci allows for the creation of geometrical tesserae with a strong visual impact. Vibrazioni expresses dynamism, speed and a great evocative strength produced by the juxtaposition of the light and shade effects of the colours and naturalness of certified Oak.
