The redevelopment of an industrial shed becomes an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between work architecture, nature and light.
Designed by architect Alessandro Cois, as architectural consultant and artistic director, the intervention transformed a disused industrial building into a contemporary space dedicated to work and well-being, now home to the offices of a prestigious company.

The beating heart of the project is the central square: a large interior space flooded with natural light thanks to a large skylight, around which all the operational environments overlook. The square is not only a distributive element, but takes on a strong symbolic and spatial value: it breaks the traditional separation between inside and outside, returning an open and permeable dimension to the entire building.

To strengthen the dialogue with nature, the pavement of the square and the staircase that connects it to the upper levels have been covered with a wooden surface chosen as a material and chromatic counterpoint to the lush greenery of the two large ficus trees placed in the center of the space.

In particular, the Désir wood floor by Listone Giordano has been selected, a collection that combines elegance and warmth with a tactile and natural finish. The refined texture of wood, combined with its slight irregularities, fits perfectly with the character of the environments: professional but informal, contemporary but rooted in a more human and sensitive dimension. The parquet not only contributes to the aesthetic quality of the space, but also promotes a perception of comfort and hospitality.

The intervention, even starting from an industrial container, manages to build a new interior landscape where light, materials and vegetation contribute to improving the quality of time and work. A project that demonstrates how even the architecture of productive spaces can become an opportunity to generate cultural and environmental value.
