Listone Giordano at Casa Decor 2026: the Désir parquet takes center stage in Madrid

From April 9 to May 24, Casa Decor 2026 returns to bring Madrid to life, reaffirming its status as one of the most influential events on the international interior design scene.

In this context, Listone Giordano is participating in Spazio Italia, a project promoted by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) to showcase Italian design and craftsmanship around the world. The initiative is housed in a 45-square-meter space designed as a hotel suite with a bathroom and lounge area, created by the firm Estudio Rebuelta Domecq and focused on the themes of sustainability, innovation, and craftsmanship.

At the heart of the installation is the Désir Civita 1695 parquet from the Atelier collection, featured in the “Orbita e Materia” suite—a project that interprets the night as a cultural and sensory landscape.

The space is rooted in respect for the original architecture and unfolds through a contemporary narrative woven from materials, surfaces, and light. Marble with bold, graphic patterns, satin-finished metals, dense fabrics, and reflective finishes create an enveloping atmosphere, where a palette of warm neutrals is punctuated by deep accents inspired by the Italian night.

In this setting, the Désir Listone Giordano hardwood floor blends in seamlessly, helping to create a sophisticated and evocative interior. Inspired by the world of art, it reinterprets the proportions of traditional wooden floors through a pattern of slender, elongated planks, striking a balance between tradition and modernity.
