“Supernova is like the explosion of a star: a point expanding into space in every direction, like a universe in the making. In this project, the poetry of form meets the physics of light and the technical expertise of Listone Giordano. A single sinuous module, with concave and convex sides, repeats by rotating on itself to create a shifting surface that mimics Nature: complex in detail, yet essential and immediate in its whole. It is a floor that does not merely cover, but builds the experience of space, manipulating light and interacting with those who walk across it.”

Pietro Olioso

Pietro Olioso lives and works in Milan, where he founded his multidisciplinary studio after an educational path between architecture and design. His research focuses on landscape as a place of deep and immediate connection between humans and nature, an approach that blends technical rigor with poetic sensitivity. Through the skilled use of natural materials and the study of light, Olioso develops projects aimed at redefining the perception of living spaces. With Supernova, he inaugurates an outstanding collaboration with Listone Giordano, bringing into the world of wood a vision in which geometry becomes a tool to narrate infinity.
