The expansion of light
in a boundless geometry
Natural Genius Supernova, the cosmic vision by Pietro Olioso for Listone Giordano, transforms parquet into a dynamic surface with no preferred orientation. The concept draws inspiration from stellar genesis, translating the energy of an explosion into a fluid geometry that seems to pulse beneath your feet.
At the heart of the system lies a single, ingenious organic module. Through rotation and the perfect interlocking of its concave and convex profiles, the wooden material breaks free from the rigidity of the traditional plank to become an infinite texture. Supernova challenges the boundaries of space, potentially replicating endlessly without ever interrupting its visual rhythm.

A single sinuous module, with concave and convex sides, repeats by rotating on itself to create a shifting surface that mimics Nature.”

The geometries
The aesthetic is defined by an interplay of ever-changing light reflections: depending on the orientation of the wood grain in each individual piece, the surface responds to natural light, becoming iridescent. The result is a design ecosystem with a romantic, “Sturm und Drang” sensibility, capable of establishing an immediate emotional connection between humans, architectural craftsmanship, and the primordial beauty of the universe.
