AMDL CIRCLE redefines the concept of the Arrital showroom, transforming it into a multifunctional and inspirational environment.
The project, housed in an office building designed by Vico Magistretti, becomes a meeting point in the center of Milan, designed for events, relationships, and creative cross-pollination.
Spread over three levels, the showroom offers an experience of transparency and engagement. The kitchen, the beating heart of the project, is transformed into a living space, a stage for stories and conviviality, embodying Arrital’s philosophy. The concept reflects the brand’s innovative approach, creating a spacious, elegant, and recognizable environment, enriched by distinctive elements such as hanging flower beds and the “rosso Vico” staircase.
The renovation gave the building, constructed between 1955 and 1957 by Vico Magistretti, a new identity, enhancing its verticality. The opening of a void and the addition of the “Vico red” staircase reinforce the link with the past, making the architecture more dynamic and functional.
A suspended urban garden symbolically connects the interior and exterior, eliminating the barrier between public and private space. This element not only welcomes visitors, but also integrates nature into the showroom, reflecting the idea of the store as a place of encounter and culture.
The kitchen is the central element of the project, creating a warm and shared atmosphere. The hanging garden becomes both a resource for show cooking events and a stimulus for reflection on the quality and origin of ingredients, strengthening the dialogue between city and nature.
The choice of materials such as wood, aluminum, terracotta, and raw steel emphasizes the authenticity of the project. Technical solutions, such as sound-absorbing cladding, contribute to creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere, typical of the AMDL CIRCLE style.
For the events area, the studio led by Michele De Lucchi chose Listone 140 Oak Grigio Bretone and Listone 90 Oak Biancospino parquet flooring, which adds warmth to all the rooms.
This showroom is not just a sales outlet, but a place of experience and innovation, capable of conveying Arrital’s vision of contemporary design.
