Palazzo Dal Verme, Milan: a project of refined elegance in the heart of the city
In Milan, where architecture increasingly meets the design of the living experience, Palazzo dal Verme is now an emblematic case study. Not only for the quality of the intervention, but above all for its location: a rare balance between history, urban prestige, and environmental quality.
It is in this privileged context that Contract District Group pursues its vision of integrated and immediately accessible living, transforming a historic building into a benchmark project for the high-end rental market.
The redevelopment, developed according to a Design&Build approach, redefines the layout of the apartments in a “ready to live” key, offering ready-to-use spaces that are technologically integrated and designed to guarantee comfort and quality of living from the moment you walk in.fort e qualità abitativa fin dal primo ingresso.
To outline the different identities of the interiors, Contract District Group developed two distinct mood boards, both focusing on the enhancement of materials and textures. In the sample unit of Palazzo del Verme, particular emphasis is given to the surfaces with Listone Giordano parquet flooring in tamarind-colored oak, which contribute to the definition of an elegant, natural domestic imagery consistent with the tradition of Italian design that pays close attention to materials. In this context, the wooden floor acts as a common thread between the architectural design and the natural dimension, restoring a sense of authenticity, warmth, and sensory well-being to the spaces.
The design choices—from the cladding to the partitions, from the custom-made furnishings to the lighting elements—contribute to a harmonious result that translates the historic character of the building into a contemporary, calibrated, and sophisticated language.

The renovation of Palazzo dal Verme confirms the centrality of the area around the Castle and Parco Sempione as a privileged location for experimenting with new housing models.
In an increasingly competitive market, Milan continues to be a dynamic urban laboratory: here, projects such as this not only respond to demand but actively contribute to redefining it. Palazzo dal Verme thus becomes not only a prestigious address but also a manifesto of contemporary Milanese living.
