A restaurant with a view of the Pyramids of Giza
Khufu’s Restaurant is not just a place to enjoy delicious dishes, but a sensory experience that combines flavor with sight, reflecting the essence of Egyptian culture. Its prime location at the foot of the majestic Pyramids of Giza offers visitors an unparalleled view, turning every meal into an unforgettable moment.
Hisham Ghorab’s design stands out for its attention to environment and history, creating a space that does not compete with the surrounding architectural wonders, but rather enhances their magnificence. The use of sandstone, a typical material of the region, not only ensures a harmonious integration into the desert landscape, but also tells a story of tradition and continuity.
The restaurant’s architecture is characterized by clean lines and essential forms, reflecting modernity without sacrificing respect for cultural heritage. Fabrique by Listone Giordano designed by Marc Sadler was chosen for the surfaces that cover the vertical elements of the interior spaces, bringing warmth and comfort to the environment, creating an elegant contrast with the solidity of the stone. This approach not only enhances the aesthetics, but also promotes a feeling of peace and tranquility, inviting guests to relax and enjoy their dining experience.

In addition, attention to detail, from the choice of materials to the furniture, is evident in every corner of the restaurant. Each element is designed to tell a story, to convey the richness of Egyptian culture through contemporary design. Visitors can thus immerse themselves not only in the food, but also in the history and art of Egypt, making Khufu’s Restaurant a unique and fascinating place.
