Trame
The Rhythm
of the Mark
for a material
in motion
Natural Genius Trame, the sophisticated creation by Patrick Jouin for Listone Giordano, represents a profound exploration of the visual and tactile perception of wood. The beating heart of the project lies in the contrast between the solidity of oak and the delicacy of fine surface engravings capable of releasing a sense of movement.
The system is based on three fixed-size elements which, through a skillful interplay of lines and orientations, allow for the creation of ever-changing graphic patterns. Trame goes beyond the traditional concept of the wooden plank, becoming a dynamic architectural language in which the repetition of the mark creates a hypnotic rhythm that expands the perceptual boundaries of space.

The engraving is not merely decorative, but the very soul of a movement impressed over time. With Trame, wood ceases to be a static surface and becomes a vibrant fabric, where the graphic mark breaks the rigidity of the material. It is an intense dialogue between light and shadow, a geometric rhythm that transforms the floor into a fluid sensory experience.

The aesthetic is defined by a strong yet understated personality, where industrial engraving technology merges with an organic sensibility. The result is a vibrant surface capable of capturing light in ever-changing ways, while maintaining an extraordinary sense of openness. An ecosystem of signs that transforms the horizontal plane into a precious textile, where the rigor of design meets the visual softness of the pattern.
