graphit

A wood surface project that combines business research with the rhythm of the circular economy
The project
Graphit, the matte black parquet born from an innovative water-based coating cycle using “g upgraded recycled graphite,” which recovers and enhances recycled graphite sourced from the processing of selected high-tech companies.
The business collaboration with Alisea Srl Società Benefit is rooted in a shared set of values, nurtured by a forward-thinking approach towards the planet’s future and the well-being of its inhabitants. Alisea has made Reuse and Recycling a core part of its identity since 1994. All the materials used for the production of objects and treatments ensure quality standards that are practically identical, and in some cases superior, to virgin materials.

“Graphit,” the matte black wooden flooring, is the result of an innovative production process created in response to the need to give new life to several tons of graphite from industrial processing, addressing issues related to disposal time, space, and annual costs. The act of recycling contributes to the virtuous model of the circular economy, which involves a gradual decoupling of economic activity from the consumption of finite resources and the design of waste outside the system.

The circular economy applied to surfaces, in this case to wooden parquet. A fully traceable upcycling supply chain capable of generating social and environmental value for the entire community.
