Classicism reinterpreted in a contemporary key
The space designed by Cristina Rebuelta for Casa Decor 2026, awarded by the public as the most appreciated environment of the edition, stems from the encounter between classical memory and contemporary sensibility. The suite reinterprets the traditional language of architecture through refined materials, textures, and details, combining symmetry, compositional rigor, and essential lines.
The project revolves around the concept of night, understood as a dimension of quietness and contemplation. At the center of the space, a striking moon-inspired lamp becomes the narrative focal point of the suite, around which a suspended, silent, and sophisticated atmosphere is created.
The ceiling, frescoed with constellations, evokes a contemporary night sky, while the palette of warm tones, earthy hues, wood finishes, and blue and purple accents creates an intimate and enveloping atmosphere. The goal, explains the designer, was to create a space of calm and serenity dedicated to rest.
The choice of materials is central to defining the suite’s atmosphere. The floor combines marble inlays and wood surfaces that warm the space, while Listone Giordano’s Desir parquet introduces a contemporary touch to a classic composition, thanks to its sophisticated and elegant texture and design.

The furnishings also reflect the dialogue between past and present. The suite, divided into a living and sleeping area, combines contemporary elements with classic details: in the sleeping area, marble accents and the headboard evoke a monumental elegance, while maintaining a sense of lightness and clean lines.
The result is a minimalist space where luxury and comfort are expressed through balance, texture, and atmosphere. Studio Revuelta Domecq’s suite thus interprets contemporary living as an intimate and sensory experience.
